WINDOWS 7:

 Windows 7 was released on july 22 2009. Which means Windows 7 is 12 years old. Microsoft has ended its support for Windows 7 on july 15 2018. The system requirements for the 64 bit version are 1gb ram and 20 gb storage space. Even though Microsoft has ended its support for Windows 7 it is still widely used.


Windows 10:

 Windows 10 was introduced in 2015 on 15 july. Windows 10 is 6 years old. Well windows 10 has been succeeded by windows 11. Microsoft has not ended its support for Windows 10. The system requirements for windows 10 are 2 gb ram and 32 gb storage space for the 64 bit version.


SPEED COMPARISON BETWEEN WINDOWS 7 AND WINDOWS 10

     Well the windows 7 is slower than windows 10 according to people's opinion. Windows 10 is more new than windows 7 betterly optimized than windows 10.


WINDOWS 7 VS 10 FOR GAMING

   In gaming if we compare windows 7 and windows 10 with the same specs. It has been observed that people give priority to windows 7 over windows 10 for gaming. The difference is not big, both give us almost the performance of the game graphic card and cpu is being used. In fps comparison we came to know that windows 7 only gave 2 more fps than windows 10. Which is not a big deal in gaming. 


Should you use windows 7 for gaming 

   Well in our opinion NO because in windows 10 you will get DirectX 12 support which you won't get in  windows 7. DirectX 12 is only available for Windows 10. Games which require DirectX 12 won't run on Windows 7.


THE REASON BEHIND WINDOWS 7s 2 FPS:

           The main reason behind this is that windows 7 has much fewer resources than windows 10. Because of which when games played on windows 7 give 2 fps more.

But people who play a lot of games already know the fact that this 2 fps difference is not a big deal.

Why windows 10 is sometime disliked

             The reason windows 10 is sometimes disliked by some people is because of its updates which sometimes creates problems for the people. As we mentioned above, Microsoft still supports Windows 10. Microsoft constantly provides updates for Windows 10. These updates come with a lot of new and beneficial features but also cause a lot of problems for some people.


RECOMMENDED OS FOR GAMING

                 Well between both we would  recommend windows 10 for gaming because of its DirectX 12 support and many more good features. The updates can easily be turned off.
